Thomas,

Like I say in this lesson: "Remember the tip about the automatic change of the name of a Control. Yours can have another names/versions".
Verify the versions of "Shout" and the other Controls and do the changes in the script.

I went through the tutorial on a rc26 and ahd to stop at 'TALKING TO THE SERVER'. I dragged the controls into place, renamed them and copied the buttons script but I couldn't accept the scripts changes. Smalltalk complained about 'Shout' not being an unknown variable. I dragged Shout's characters over the script and it showed 'Shout's character = abc'. Any suggestions?

Many thanks.

I am trying again to have a Cobalt space available 24/7, using the "Directory". My version is rc26. Try to access it using: "Space | Linking using directory. And let me know about your experience. Thanks.

Could you be more specific about the buffer problem? Better yet, could you please report it in mantis (http://croquet-src-01.oit.duke.edu/mantis/) and attach zipped copies of the log and config directories? Thanks for trying out putting a long lived server up!
