Hi, I'm an art historian at Georgia State Unversity. I teach Roman and Medieval art and architecture, and am always looking for better ways to communicate 3D information (like the arrangement of frescoes on the walls of a church) to my students and other scholars. I started years ago making 3D worlds using Adobe Atmosphere. When the plug was pulled on that, I moved on to Blink 3D. Now, sadly, Blink 3D has folded as well. While working with Blink, I was also following various other projects (Opensim, realXtend, Croquet/Cobalt, etc.). It looks to me like Cobalt might be the one best suited for the kinds of things I want to do, so here I am.
I hope that my arrival does not portend the end of Croquet and Cobalt. ;)
